The BMW Charity Pro-Am brings some of the biggest names in sports and entertainment to Greer and Spartanburg, two massive concerts are happening in Greenville, free outdoor music is running across the region, and the farmers markets are in full summer swing. The Big Event: BMW Charity Pro-Am at Thornblade Club

Now in its 26th year, the BMW Charity Pro-Am presented by TD SYNNEX is one of the most beloved events in the Upstate — and this year's edition might be the best one yet. Tournament play runs June 4–7 at Thornblade Club in Greer and the Country Club of Spartanburg, with Korn Ferry Tour professionals paired with celebrities in a better-ball competition benefiting nine Upstate charities.
The celebrity lineup this year is headlined by Emmy and Golden Globe-winning actor Bill Murray — yes, that Bill Murray — along with J.R. Smith, Steve Smith Sr., Clint Dempsey, Aaron Hicks, Ryan Leaf, Grant Horvat, and YouTube golf star Sean Malto. And if that's not enough, Bill Murray's own band — Bill Murray and His Blood Brothers — plays a live concert Saturday, June 6 at 7:30 PM at 3's Greenville Golf & Grubhouse.
Thornblade Club is one of the most beautiful golf settings in the entire Southeast, and watching Korn Ferry pros alongside celebrities in person is genuinely a treat. Tickets are available through the BMW Charity Pro-Am website.
Even if you're not a golf fan, this week has an energy to it that makes Greer and the whole Upstate feel electric. If you've never been to Thornblade to watch a round, put it on your list — the course is stunning and the atmosphere is unlike anything else we have locally.
