Greer, South Carolina is a city located in the Upstate of South Carolina. Downtown Greer, SC is located just about halfway between downtown Greenville (11.6 miles) and downtown Spartanburg (16.7 miles). The entire Greer area actually spans across parts of Greenville County and Spartanburg County. Greer, SC is home to the only BMW plant in North America, and the Michelin North American headquarters. Greer is also home to the Thornblade Club, which was one of three host courses in the 2008 BMW Charity Pro-Am golf tournament.
